Hello and welcome!

My name's James and I am a leading creator of knowledge, community and wellbeing in the field of mental health. I am most known for my activity in the area of eating disorders in particular, and for an approach that is rooted in valuing diverse lived and embodied experience. This website brings together the many strands of my work as an educator and public speaker, researcher and writer, embodied movement practitioner, and psychological therapist. It is also where you can book events with me and get in touch.

With more than a decade's experience of high-impact work in this area, I've a wealth of skill and knowledge to draw upon in approaching new projects, as well as a curiosity that is only growing. Whether you are looking for policy and research advice, training provision, personal therapy, or simply more information about me, I hope you find this site useful. Do get in touch if there is any way we might be able to connect to create positive change, together.

NB: This website is in development and will be more fully finished Summer 2024! Thank you for your patience.
