About the event

You are welcome to join us - a group of eating disorder researchers with a range of lived and living experiences and professional backgounds -  for a webinar talk and Q&A relating to our recent publication, Discordant conceptualisations of eating disorder recovery and their influence on the construct of terminality

This paper represents an attempt to address critical conceptual gaps in the literature on longstanding eating disorders. It aims to encourage further conversations, research, and interrogation of how concepts such as recovery, duration, perceived futility, hope, and agency are understood and operationalised in the context of eating disorders. Ultimately, we hope this will lead to improved care, better outcomes, and greater justice in the field.
